The review

Chuck Benhart, co-owner of Auto Tech & Body in Roselle, Ill., reviewed the Snap Ring Pliers set with his staff. They found that while they didn't need the kit every day, when they did need it they were happy to have it available in the shop.

"It is beneficial ... when I do need it, it has fixed my impacts right," Benhart said.

Pros included the durable case and well-built pliers, as well as the comprehensiveness of the kit.

"It saves a lot of time as far as trying to locate parts," said Benhard. "The snap rings and everything that were in (the kit) were adequate for the tools I repaired."

When asked how easy the kit was to use, Benart said "It was a piece of cake. Everything’s in there that you need."

Although Benhart said the kit worked well for any repairs he needed to complete, he suggested only one improvement: "Expand the assortment to get more clips in it for other tools."

Overall, Benhart was satisfied with the Snap Ring Pliers Master Tool Kit.

"When I needed it, it worked well," he said. "It’s not something that you’d use daily. But if you had the tool you’d know you can access what you need."
