Designed with a variable-speed trigger, the Model 1162 Automatic Pneumatic Grease Gun from Lincoln provides superior flow control with the convenience of fully automatic operation. The grease gun's 30", high-pressure hose with coupler and attachment clip provides easy access to lube points.
Operating on shop air ranging from 40 psi to 150 psi, the Model 1162 supplies high flow rates at low and medium pressures for quick filling or high pressures for tight joints, clogged fittings and track adjustments.
THE REVIEW
Joel Anderson, shop foreman at Bonfe’s Mechanical in St. Paul, Minn., and Joe Marconi, owner of Osceola Garage in Baldwin Place, N.Y., both tested the 1162 grease gun and were happy with the product’s performance.
“The Lincoln air-powered grease gun is a pleasure to use. The power and continuous flow of grease makes this tool a must,” Marconi said.
“I can lube a front end in a fraction of the time it would take with a manual pump gun,” Anderson said.
Both agreed the grease gun saved time and energy in the shop.
“It’s versatile, compact and its trigger system makes it effortless to use. Noise level is low and the grip fits nicely in your hand,” Marconi said. “No need to pump like in the old days, and no batteries to maintain. This tool makes a great fit for any size shop.”
“It has a nice long hose, not a heavy hose retainer when not in use. The air-powered feature is great and saves time,” said Anderson. “On a scale of one to 10, it’s a 10."
