Q: How did the tool function as far as saving you time?

A: The charger is easy to set up with only one button needed to change functions. It automatically turns on as soon as the leads are connected to a battery. This makes it fast and easy to use.

Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A: Nothing! Open it up, read the manual, and plug it in.

Q: How easy was it to use?

A: With only one button for mode selection, it’s very easy to use.

Q: How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?

A: Packaging was good, typical cardboard box, nothing fancy. No fancy case or anything, but that isn’t needed for this tool. It did not come with any accessories.

Q: Was there a manual included? If so, did you use the manual, and was it easy to understand?

A: Yes, there was a manual. I used it to understand what the different settings were and to see what the specifications of the charger were. The manual was easy to use.

Q: What features did you like?

A: I liked the small size and one button operation.

Q: What features didn't you like:

A: The charging lead is too short and isn't replaceable in the field.

Q: What types of jobs did you use this tool for?

A: Battery charging and battery maintenance of stored vehicles.

Q: Have you used a previous version of this tool? If so, what are some new features compared to the old version?

A:  I have not used a previous version of this tool in the past.

Q: Is there any way you can think to improve or add to this tool?

A: I would make the battery cable lead and the AC cord field replaceable. Currently, if anything happens to either cord, the charger will need to be replaced. Being able to just replace the cables would be nice. I would also like higher quality clamps with serrated jaws. On a corroded or dirty battery cable, the supplied clamps may struggle to create a good contact point. For automotive applications, I feel the PRO25SE is a better option. It comes with a wall mount and a longer battery cable, which were the only two things I wished this charger had.
