Q: How did the tool function as far as saving you time?

A: Quick and easy setup, and it was very easy to get the scan report and to share. Somewhat quick scan time for complete vehicle.

Q: How has using this tool impacted your shop’s profitability?

A: Coverage is fantastic for the low cost of the scan tool, allowing for savings on more expensive units.

Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A: Basic information for registration. Also, needed to perform software updates. Both processes were quick and painless to perform.

Q: How easy was it to use?

A:. Very easy that even a beginning technician can navigate the tool.

Q: How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?

A: Packaging was some of the best I have seen for a scan tool. It came with adapters for different applications like BMW underhood connection on older models to ensure compatibility.

Q: Was there a manual included? If so, did you use the manual, and was the manual easy to understand?

A: Yes, a manual is included but was not needed due to how easy this tool is to operate.

Q: What features did you like?

A: Love the battery life on the unit so far and how easy different functions are to find depending on what you’re trying to accomplish.

Q: Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?

A: This tool is impressive in what it can perform. That said, compatibility with all protocols would be nice. I did have an issue where it didn’t detect all modules on a ‘21 Ford Transit 150. With constant updates, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is taken care of on a future update.

Q: What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for?

A: I used this for scanning a ‘21 Ford Transit 150, ‘21 Subaru Eyesight (driver assist) data capture of auto adjustment after static was completed, and a Ford Escape parameter reset options, which does require a code to be obtained.

Q: Have you used a previous version of this tool? If so, what are some new features compared to the old version? / How does this tool compare to other tools you’ve used like it?

A: This was the first TOPDON scan tool that I used but not the first aftermarket scan tool I have used. This tool is very impressive for price and will handle repairs that higher-end scan tools may not.

Q: Is there anything you had questions or concerns about in regard to the tool?

A: No concerns, it works as desired.

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?

A: I would rate this tool a 10 due to the low cost of the tool and the impressive coverage it has so far. I doubt anyone will find a more capable scan tool for less.
