Q: How did the tool function as far as saving you time?

A: The velocity of the air that exits this gun is very impressive. My technician and I were so surprised that we giggled like schoolgirls for the first two minutes of trying this out. Velocity with some adjustability is what you want in a blow gun, and this one does it better than any other blow gun that I've used. Whether it's blowing off dust, debris, or degreaser, this gun does the job faster.

Q: How has using this tool impacted your shop's profitability?

A: A good quality tool that works well and always improves efficiency equals increased profitability.

Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A: There's not really much setup time. We installed the included hose coupling, selected the desired nozzle, and got to work.

Q: How easy was it to use?

A: The tool is very easy to use. Just connect to an air hose and start using the air gun.

Q: How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?

A: The package is made of cardboard, but on the inside is a dense foam insert with custom cutouts to fit each of the parts included. The kit comes with the blow gun, an air coupling, an adjustable nozzle, a venturi nozzle, and two different length rubber tip extensions.

Q: Was there a manual included? If so, did you use the manual, and was it easy to understand?

A: The user manual was included, it was intuitive.

Q: What features did you like?

A: I like that the gun is metal. It feels like it will last a long time and would withstand a good drop or any other casualty short of being run over by a car. I also like that the kit includes an adjustable nozzle, rubber-tipped extensions, and most importantly, the part that really sets this kit apart from any other, the venturi nozzle.

Q: Is there any way you could think of improving or adding to this tool?

A: I’d like to see the rubber be more cone-shaped like traditional rubber tips included with other blow gun kits. That way, the gun would be more versatile when using the rubber tips. That said, my statement may be based on my own past experiences. I suspect that SUNEX has their reasons for the rubber tip design that they used.

When changing the tips/nozzles, it’s not always easy to change by hand without tools. The venturi and extensions are easy to remove and install, but the adjustable nozzle/tip is not. I’m not sure that I like the rubber O-rings on the nozzles/tips. I can’t help but wonder how long it will be before I have to dig through our O-ring assortment to replace these once they tear and/or wear.

Q: What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for?

A: We used this blow gun to clear lines during A/C system flushes. We also used it for cleaning engine compartments during leak inspections and after leak repairs.

Q:  How does this tool compare to other tools you've used like it?

A: I’ve used blow guns for years, but I’ve never had one so sturdy and cool looking. You don’t seem to get both with a blow gun. It’s either cool looking but plastic or metal and not cool looking. I’ve never used a blow gun with a venturi nozzle. This blow gun "blows" the competition away. I couldn’t let that nerdy pun slip past you!

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?

A: I love this blow gun kit! I rate this tool a nine only because of the feature improvements I described above. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this kit and would recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues. This is the coolest blow gun that I’ve used. No other blow gun kit has had me or my technician this excited before.
