During its recent Investor/Analyst Day, officials at Navistar International (www.Navistar.com) discussed the company’s current situation and the opportunities that lie ahead.

The event was held at the company’s world headquarters in Lisle, Ill., last week.

Navistar is a holding company whose subsidiaries and affiliates produce International brand commercial and military trucks, proprietary diesel engines and IC Bus brand school and commercial buses.

Among the issues covered: progress on the company’s turnaround plan that was begun in 2012; expectations for the future; future plans; strategies for market and revenue growth; pricing plans; company operations, product, technology and engine development; and a path to earnings.

“From adversity, I believe, comes strength,” Troy Clarke, president and CEO of Navistar, told meeting attendees, and “I am convinced that our best days are ahead.”
