In this video, shot live on the show floor at the AAPEX 2023 show in Las Vegas, Scott Brown, contributing technical editor for PTEN, talks with Joffrey Starcher, North America Sales Manager for TEXA USA, to review the digital innovation of the TEXA RCCS3 ADAS Calibration system.

Scott and Joffrey cover the RCCS3 (Radar Camera Calibration System) and its uniqueness based upon the fact that most static ADAS calibration targets can be displayed on the 75” 4K monitor where all targets meet exact OEM specifications. This feature can be extremely helpful because it drastically reduces the storage space required for a shop to support multiple carlines with numerous targets.

Scott and Joffrey confirm that all digitally displayed targets are sized to meet exact OEM specifications. In addition, as new year vehicle models with different targeting requirements arise, technicians simply keep their TEXA IDC5 software up to date, to acquire the latest targets digitally.

They also cover how the IDC5 software operates the digital measurement procedures to support the virtual positioning of the RCCS3 calibration frame, for one person to easily center and square the frame to the vehicle accurately.
