The Cleveland boot, from Keen, promises sturdy protection with durable design details with an understated classic design. This all-leather waterproof nubuck 6" boot features a KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane lining letting moisture out but never in. A Keen Key-Tech full-length TPU interlocking torsion plate provides flexibility in the forefoot and stability in the underfoot. Left and right asymmetrical steel-toes offer a roomier toe-cap and ASTM-certified safety while the oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole provides secure footing for whatever work may throw your way. The Review
Lou Fort, Lead Tech at K.A.R.S. Inc. in Huntingburg, Ind., tried out the Keen Cleveland boots.
Before testing, Lou’s main concern with trying out boots was how long they’d take to break in.
“I have been wearing the same brand/style of boot for 30 years and it would take a few weeks or more with every new pair to get them broke in and feeling good.”
But Lou had no complaints about the break-in of these boots.
“Let me tell you, the fit and comfort of these boots was spot-on from day one,” he says. “This is the first boot I have put on that I didn’t dread leaving on for a full 10-hour day.”
Lou’s one suggestion for improvement would be how to properly care for the boots.
“Their unique material had me wondering about what, if anything, I should do to help make them last,” he explains.

When asked what else Lou liked about this boot, he responded: Everything. “From the look of them to the fit and feel, how easy they are to care for and how caring they are of my feet.”
