Tom Marx, president and CEO of The Marx Group, will deliver two marketing seminars at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nev. Marx, a popular presenter at past SEMA events, will present "Power Branding" on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and "The Truth About Sales & Marketing: Who Works for Whom?" on the same day from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

"Effective branding builds on and takes advantage of a strong synergy between a company and its customers," Marx said about his presentation on Power Branding. "This requires knowing their wants, needs and buying behaviors."

Marx says developing a vital, ongoing and trusting relationship between your company and your customers takes an investment in time and effort, as well as consistent application. His first presentation will explain the five branding forces of position, promise, personality, story, and elements, and how a company can improve its brand equity.

Marx's second seminar on sales and marketing, will explain the rationale and processes to get marketing and sales professionals to work more effectively together for a common goal. The co-author of "Marketing Sucks (and Sales, Too!)," Marx will provide practical ideas to help establish accountability between marketing and sales and how both groups can work toward mutual goals.
