Edge WorldClass software aims to improve shop efficiency and profitability.

MPi, a provider of revenue and retention solutions for automotive dealership service departments, announced the launch of Edge WorldClass for HD truck shops. The comprehensive package of software products and process training helps shops optimize existing service processes to improve vehicle turnaround time, sell more parts, and streamline communications.

"HD Truck shops have many of the same problems as franchised dealer service departments and we are very excited to launch Edge WorldClass for truck dealers. MPi now has close to 1,000 domestic, luxury import and non-luxury import franchises using the MPi Edge WorldClass system, enjoying a much sought after average monthly up-sell from inspections of over $80,000. Dealerships using Edge WorldClass uniformly increase efficiency, productivity and profitability, with annual revenue increases of 21 percent and more. I am sure our HD truck dealers will soon be experiencing the same results," said Rich Holland, MPi president.

Edge WorldClass connects truck owners and their vehicles with dealership service departments. It eliminates the variables that result from numerous manual processes and provides a set of best practices to improve service revenues as well as repair process efficiencies. The system is customized to meet all HD truck vehicle inspection criteria with easy-to-understand "ActionPlan reports," according to the company.

ActionPlan reports are valuable sales tools that can be printed or sent digitally to the business partner for approval. The system also automatically generates personal web pages (PURLs) that contain photos and detailed service recommendations.

With qualitative analytics and quantitative reporting capability, the software provides trusted information that can be used in real-time to help manage and coach a more efficient and profitable service department.
