Decisiv and Procede Software deliver operational efficiency and improved data integrity

Partnership improves product offering, which provides a seamless "one-click" update environment.

Decisiv, Inc., a provider of service relationship management (SRM) platforms, announced a partnership with Procede Software, a leading enterprise software developer of Dealer Management System (DMS) solutions for the heavy duty commercial truck marketplace. From this new partnership, service providers can improve revenue and margins, reduce days out of service (DOS), drive customer retention, improve communication and achieve faster issue resolution.

"The integration between Decisiv and Procede creates significant value for fleets and service providers," said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. "Our mutual fleet customers will benefit by always having up to date service event status information and clearly documented and approved estimates that match invoices, resulting in fewer days out of service. The Decisiv-Procede integration will also make service providers more competitive, and improve margins and customer retention."

When using the Decisiv Service Relationship Management (SRM) platform to automate check-in, inspections, estimating and approvals, the certified integration with Procede Software's Excede DMS provides the service provider a seamless "one-click" update environment, without requiring any additional data entry.

With the integrated solution, all service related information is available for an assigned technician to perform the necessary work. The Decisiv platform can also check Procede Software's Excede DMS for parts pricing and availability, and retrieve customer specific contracted rates for labor and parts, all in real-time.

Leveraging the Decisiv-Procede integration, customer approvals and changes to estimates and work orders are updated in both systems simultaneously, with all communication and documentation managed in the context of the specific service or repair event. With the approved estimate in sync with the customer invoice in the Excede DMS, repair surprises are eliminated and faster invoice payments for service providers are facilitated.

"Our mutual customers are benefitting from this partnership. The impact has been immediate; they are saving precious time and significantly improving data integrity," said Larry Kettler, Procede Software CEO. "One of the goals of our Partner Program is to leverage the flexibility and power of Excede DMS' Microsoft SQL database architecture to drive real efficiencies across our customers' ecosystems. This certified, seamless integration achieves that goal."

One of the first users of the Decisiv-Procede integration is Clarke Power Services, a certified WheelTime service provider headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio that operates 27 full service facilities in 11 states. "We were already realizing the benefits of the WheelTime LINQ customer service platform developed by Decisiv, including streamlined communications with customers, less time spent on the phone for estimates and approvals, and consistent parts and labor pricing," said Peter Savage, operations manager at Clarke.

Clarke had also adopted Excede DMS from Procede Software as its preferred dealer management system. "The integration between Decisiv and Procede has been a tremendous leap forward for us," Savage stated. "Once Decisiv facilitated the integration, and provided set up and training on site at our locations, we started benefitting immediately from the elimination of redundant data entry and consistency between the two solutions. Our service staff now reports that they are saving ten or more minutes of the time it takes to open each service order and set it up properly."
