Mohawk Lifts meet new ALI certification standard

July 15, 2013
ALI certification called critical to users and safety directors.

Mohawk Lifts has announced that all Mohawk two post car and truck lifts, all parallelograms, all mobile columns, and all 30,000 through 75,000 lb four posts have recently been certified to meet the new ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2011 standard.

Mohawk claims it is one of the few lift manufacturers whose lifts and options have passed rigid third party compliance testing to ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2011 to meet the one and only nationally recognized safety standard for vehicle lifts. Certification to ALI standard requirements is important to lift specifiers, users, and safety directors. Mohawk encourages users to demand certification by looking for the ALI Certified and ETL Listed marks.

ALI's mission is to promote the safe design, construction, installation, inspection, and use of automotive lifts.
