Automotive service and repair professionals can now access mobile A/C and engine cooling system specifications through a new online subscription service. Previously, this information was only available in print manuals.
"MACS has received hundreds of requests to make this data available in an online version, reflecting the way technicians work in today's digital world," remarked Elvis L. Hoffpauir, MACS president and chief operating officer.
The new Mobile A/C and engine cooling system online specifications database contains mobile A/C system specifications for refrigerant capacities, refrigerant types, compressor oil type and viscosity and compressor clutch air gap all from 1980 to present day models. The database also contains oil capacity by component specs from 1994 to the present and component locations from 1990 to today.
Serpentine drive belts routing and replacement information is available for models from 1991 forward and data for coolant capacity and type on vehicles from 1980 to today.
MACS members can subscribe to the MOTOR Information Systems mobile A/C and engine cooling system database for an annual fee of $30. And non-members can sign up for an annual fee of $50.
