Peterbilt Motors Company named Jackson Group Peterbilt of Salt Lake City its 2013 North American Dealer of the Year for its high levels of customer satisfaction and exceptional growth in heavy and medium duty truck sales, financing, leasing and parts sales. The dealership’s outstanding performance is even more impressive, the company said, as it moved into a brand new facility, one of the largest truck dealerships in North America.

Dealer Principal Blake Jackson recently accepted the award during the annual Peterbilt Dealer Meeting held in Fort Worth, near Peterbilt’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Denton, Texas. The business meeting celebrated both dealer performance and Peterbilt’s 75th anniversary.

"In addition to investing in one of the industry’s most impressive dealerships, Blake and his team at Jackson Group Peterbilt have consistently and successfully set higher standards for customer satisfaction by embracing the full range of Peterbilt and PACCAR products," said Darrin Siver, Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR vice president. "Jackson Group Peterbilt – Salt Lake City significantly grew its business in every key area while demonstrating the passion, dedication and investment that has helped define the Peterbilt brand for 75 years.

"Jackson Group Peterbilt – through its performance and dedication to purpose build a state-of-art dealership – is an excellent example that shows the next 75 years will bring Peterbilt, its dealer network and its customers even greater levels of success."

Jackson Group Peterbilt operates 10 Peterbilt dealerships in Colorado, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. The company was founded in 1977 by Eric C. Jackson with the purchase of a small dealership in Salt Lake City. The company is now run by his son, Blake Jackson, Dealer Principal of Jackson Group Peterbilt. "We are honored to be named Peterbilt’s North American Dealer of the Year, the company’s most prestigious dealer award," said Jackson. "This is a great recognition for the team at our new Salt Lake City dealership, as well as throughout our entire organization. It is great to be a part of Peterbilt’s 75th anniversary and we look forward to being an important contributor to the Peterbilt legacy for many years."

In addition to the North American Dealer of the Year, Peterbilt also recognizes top-performing dealerships with Best in Class awards.
