Through SkyBitz as a Service, Heniff Transportation Systems receives expert onboarding support, real-time reporting, analytic tools, and TMS integration with no upfront capital expense.

SkyBitz, a provider of remote asset tracking and information management solutions, announced that Heniff Transportation Systems, a liquid bulk carrier, has updated its fleet with the award-winning Falcon series product along with the subscription-based enterprise solution, SkyBitz as a Service. Through SkyBitz as a Service, Heniff Transportation Systems receives expert onboarding support, real-time reporting, analytic tools, and TMS integration with no upfront capital expense. SkyBitz asset management solutions help Heniff Transportation Systems deliver a higher level of service to its customers through offering load tracking with more accurate reporting so they can see where their product is at any time.

Heniff Transportation Systems operates in the chemical industry which has very unique and dynamic needs that require different types of trailers for specialty chemicals. In their line of business, it is crucial for their operations and dispatching teams to quickly access accurate information to determine which type of equipment is available and how far away it is so they can quickly re-assign it. It's also important to be able to share this tracking information with its customers. During its re-evaluation, Heniff was looking for a service that would give them real-time tracking of its assets for increased visibility of shipments, inactive trailers and perform remote yard checks. Heniff’s maintenance and tank wash teams also benefit from having location and status information of their trailers by using that information to better plan their work load and scheduling when trailers come in for service or to be cleaned.

“We were attracted to the new SkyBitz as a Service offering because it opens the doors to provide our customers and us real-time tracking, notifications and reporting with a top focus on security along with location information,” says Justin Neal, director of business integration, Heniff Transportation Systems. “SkyBitz takes our data further by merging it with other sources and puts it all together in all areas of our operations (from dispatch to maintenance to tank cleaning) to deliver real-time reporting, exception alerts and dynamic visuals to be able to make better strategic business decisions. This is a game changer for us and we think differentiates us from our competition.”

Since first placing orders with SkyBitz more than nine years ago, Heniff Transportation Systems asset management needs have progressed as its business and fleet size grew and newer technology solutions became available. Heniff conducted a comprehensive evaluation of solutions available in the market and ultimately selected SkyBitz to continue to be its asset management solutions provider for all their trailer assets. Through a hands-on consultative approach by SkyBitz, Heniff has benefitted from a seamless installation process that has enabled them to quickly deploy across its entire network of assets.

“We are proud to have served Heniff Transportation Systems since 2006. At SkyBitz, caring for our customers and anticipating their needs is our first priority. Just as their business has grown and their needs evolved, we continue to advance our technology platform and solution offerings to be able to offer them the most innovative and comprehensive asset management solution in the market,” said Henry Popplewell, Senior Vice President and General Manager, SkyBitz. “Their recommitment to SkyBitz validates our vision to revolutionize the way businesses optimize, manage and protect their assets with high value information in real-time.”
