Lawson Products, Inc., a distributor of products and services to the MRO and automotive marketplaces, announced the appointment of Matt Brown to Senior Vice President, Sales. Brown previously served as Vice President, Field Sales.
As SVP of sales, Brown is responsible for the entire North American sales organization, including strategic and government accounts. He continues to report to President and CEO Michael DeCata.
Brown joined Lawson Products in 2001 as a regional manager for Lawson’s Kent Automotive brand. He served as senior director of sales for Kent Automotive before being promoted to his most recent role in January 2016.
“With a proven track record of increasing sales across the company, and a commitment to helping build and train our sales organization, Matt embodies our service-intensive value proposition,” DeCata said.
“He ensures customer success with a tremendous grasp of their needs. In doing so, he fosters wonderful long-term business relationships," DeCata said. "We’re confident Matt’s leadership will drive Lawson’s profitable growth."
Brown earned a bachelor of science in business degree, with emphasis in business and finance from University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
