SLEC opens engineering and technology-based scholarship program

The program was established in 2017 and 2018 will be its first award year.

SLEC, Inc. is opening the application period for its 2018 SLEC, Inc. Engineering & Technology Scholarship program, which offers a $1,000 scholarship to support engineering and technology-focused students graduating in 2017. 

“SLEC and its employees have always been supporters of advancement in engineering and technology,” said SLEC, Inc. Marketing Coordinator Jamie Pedrick. “Through this scholarship, we’re able to help develop the talents of students pursuing the passion of modern technology, and better prepare them for success in college and beyond.” 

The SLEC, Inc. Engineering & Technology program was established in 2017 and 2018 will be its first award year.

“We are excited about this scholarship program, and more importantly helping someone reach their potential in the engineering and technology field. This program wholeheartedly aligns with SLEC’s mission and values,” said Allister Collings, President at SLEC, Inc. 

The recipient of the 2018 scholarship fund will receive a one-time time scholarship that can be used over a one-year period. The deadline for applications is April 1 at 11:59 PM ET. Details on the grant program and the application process are available at www.slec.com/scholarship
