Online ASE test prep for transit bus technicians now available

Jan. 17, 2013
Delmar is currently the only provider of Transit Bus ASE test preparation products, and is now offering the materials in both online and print formats.

Delmar, part of Cengage Learning, has introduced the online ASE Technician Test Preparation (TTP) Transit Buscourses, a series of ASE test preparation courses for transit bus technicians.

Delmar is currently the only provider of Transit Bus ASE test preparation products, and is now offering the materials in both online and print formats.

These courses will help transit bus technicians to achieve that goal of becoming ASE certified.

The Online TTP Transit Bus Courses feature all of the necessary components a technician needs to successfully prepare for ASE certification exams. The courses feature a detailed, three-tiered preparatory methodology (practice, standard, and timed testing modes) that are designed to ensure that users increase confidence in answering task-list based questions and when performing in a simulated, timed exam environment.

First Transit, Inc., part of FirstGroup America, will be the first to utilize the Online TTP Transit Bus courses to help their technicians obtain certifications.

Todd Hawkins, Senior Vice President, First Transit and First Vehicle Services commented, "At First Transit, we value our highly skilled technicians and strongly believe that they are the cornerstone of a successful maintenance program. We invest heavily in our ASE Certification Program, so partnering with a company like Delmar was a natural step in maturing our training program. First Transit, along with the industry as a whole, will benefit greatly from these courses."
