Ford Powerstroke Diesel training set for January

Ford Senior Master Technician Mike Cleary will present the latest updates on the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel.

Ford Senior Master Technician Mike Cleary will train technicians on the newest updates, testing procedures, and design changes in the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel during a Jan. 25, 2025, session in Paso Robles, Calif.

The class will cover:

  • Powerstroke systems and subsystem strategies and operating systems
  • Low and high pressure fuel systems, dual cooling systems
  • EGR system, lubrication system, air management system, exhaust aftertreatment system
  • Injector replacement procedures and IQA programming
  • PCM inputs and outputs
  • No start, hard start and performance diagnostics
  • Troubleshooting shortcuts to increase your efficiency
  • Technical tips, Technical Service Bulletin information and more

Cleary is an award-winning technician and Powerstroke diesel engine and hybrid/electrical vehicle specialist. He's a founding member of Ford Motor Co.'s Professional Technician Society and has served on technician advisory boards and provided field feedback to Ford on how IDS performed on new vehicles. He recently opened Cleary Automotive and specializes in high tech driveability and electronics repairs on Ford Powerstroke diesel engines.

The Jan. 25 training will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Shift'N Gears Auto Repair, 1621 N. River Road, Unit 7, Paso Robles, CA 93446. The registration fee is discounted for those who sign up by Dec. 31, 2024.
