Meritor hosts training for truck parts and service professionals

The training sessions are focused on improving customer satisfaction by providing attendees with proactive, solution-oriented skills and product information.

Meritor – a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicles – is hosting Aftermarket Product Training Events in Tampa.

Ideal for parts/sales and service personnel, Meritor’s training sessions are focused on improving customer satisfaction by providing attendees with proactive, solution-oriented skills and product information.

The Tampa-based events are part of Meritor’s year-long training series, with additional events scheduled throughout the United States and Canada.

The technical parts and sales training event will be offered in two sessions. Attendees can attend on either January 30 or January 31, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Homewood Suites Conference Center in Tampa, Florida (10240 Palm River Rd.). Topics covered include: Air disc brakes, brake inspection and maintenance, diagnostics and new Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Fleet Night will be held on January 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will cover the following topics: air disc brakes, CVSA brake inspection criteria, diagnosis and brake balance.
