Snap-on launches YouTube channel for diagnostic training videos

Jan. 9, 2020
This YouTube channel will provide another avenue for technicians to learn how they can get the most out of their diagnostic tools.

Professional service technicians can now view Snap-on diagnostic training videos 24 hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, when it is most convenient for them, on the new Training Solutions YouTube channel.

Snap-on has put all of its Training Solutions videos on a dedicated YouTube channel to provide another avenue for technicians to learn how they can get the most out of their diagnostic tools.

Through short instructional sessions on specific topics, technicians learn how to navigate the features and functionality of their Snap-on diagnostic tools and quickly get answers on different aspects of tool operation. Topics include basic setup and navigation, vehicle identification process, scanner codes, OBD-II, functional tests and more. Technicians can revisit the training sessions as often as necessary to learn at their own pace and comfort level.

Training videos are hosted by National Field Trainer Jim Moritz. With over 30 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, engineering, marketing, training, and technical support, he has developed over 100 training courses and trained over 100,000 students. His memberships and certifications include NASTF, ETI, SAE, and ASE.

Visitors can subscribe to the new Snap-on Training Solutions YouTube channel to stay up-to-date on the latest content as it is added. Training videos are also available on the Snap-on diagnostic tools and repair information website.
