Meritor announces schedule for aftermarket training series

Meritor announced the 2020 schedule for its Aftermarket Sales/Parts and Service Training events. The first event will be held February 5-6 in Dallas, Texas.

Meritor’s Aftermarket Training events focus on component product function and features for Parts/Sales personnel as well as proper maintenance and diagnostic procedures for technicians. Meritor will host at least 14 regional training events across the U.S. and Canada in 2020. Information covered during these 4-hours sessions includes cam and air disc brakes, steering, suspension, and driveline.

Meritor also offers a variety of training resources such as BullPen online and on-demand training for individuals; interactive distance training courses (IDT), which provides live training from Meritor instructors where participants can interact with the instructor in the same manner as if they were in the same room; and on-site training at customer facilities.

Parts/Sales training event:

  • Wednesday, February 5, 8 AM – 12 PM or Thursday, February 6, 2 PM – 6 PM.
  • Topics covered include air disc brakes, foundation brake hardware, brake inspection and maintenance, diagnostics, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, and more.

Service training event:

  • Wednesday, February 5, 2 PM – 6 PM or Thursday, February 6, 8 AM – 12 PM.
  • Topics covered include air disc brakes, brake hardware, diagnosis, brake burnishing, driveline, suspension, and more.

Training events will take place at the Hampton Inn, DFW Airport West, 5300 TX-121, Colleyville, Texas 76034. Class size is limited, advance registration required.
