Aug. 26, 2020
TechMission 2020 is free for automotive service and diesel service professionals.

Find A Wrench is hosting their first ever free virtual event called TechMission 2020 for automotive service and diesel service professionals. TechMission 2020 will bring together technicians, shop owners/managers, fixed operations directors, and technical school staff to discuss how we can work together to:

  • Attract more technicians into the industry
  • Recruit and retain existing technicians
  • Improve the overall perception of the industry

TechMission 2020 - Bringing Together the Industry to Move It Forward

TechMission 2020 will be two days of great content — one for the automotive service industry and one for the diesel service industry.

Each event will primarily consist of roundtable discussions. Jay Goninen, founder and president of Find A Wrench, and Co-Founder and President of WrenchWay, will moderate four separate roundtable discussions:

  • Technician Roundtable - What Do Technicians Look For in a Shop?
  • Manager Roundtable - Turning Your Shop Into a Destination for Technicians
  • Tech School Roundtable - Want More and Better Techs? How the Industry Can Better Support Tech Schools
  • Industry Roundtable - Bringing It All Together

In addition, Lisa Joseph, director of recruiting at Find A Wrench, will present a bonus session, “How to Market Your Technician Jobs”. With 20 years of experience in recruiting, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and will be sharing tips on how shops can get their jobs in front of more technicians.

A full agenda, list of participating panelists can be found on the Find A Wrench website:
