Rescheduled Webinar: Understanding the intricacies of modern ignition systems

Oct. 29, 2021
Due to technical issues, the webinar will now be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 7 PM EST.

Join Motor Age Training and Technicians Service Training for a free webinar on understanding the intricacies of modern ignition systems Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 7 PM EST (rescheduled from Saturday, Nov. 20).

Every tech knows you need three things for an engine to run – the proper air/fuel mixture, the ability to compress that mixture, and the means to ignite that mixture. To become a better diagnostician, it is important to understand each of these components in as much detail as possible.

In this live webinar, sponsored by Duralast, Motor Age's Pete Meier and G. Truglia of TST will focus on the ignition system: exploring how it works, what factors affect the system’s performance, and tracing it from “key on” to the moment the spark flies over the plug gap. They'll also cover testing techniques for the components involved as well as some diagnostic tips to help techs identify even the smallest ignition system fault and will demonstrate “on car” and in the shop.

Webinar update -

If you made our “live” event, you know that we had a serious technical issue that made viewing our stream nearly impossible. The resolution delivered by our streaming service in no way matched what we were uploading to them. You also know that we had to cancel the event.

As promised, we’ve rescheduled!

If you have already registered, you can use the same link you had originally. No need to register again. To show our appreciation for your patience and support, this webinar will be an expanded version of the original with additional materials added to make this truly a training event you don’t want to miss.
