This bulletin applies to 2014 Jaguar XJ vehicles equipped with a 5.0L VIN T L supercharged engine. A humming noise may be evident from the engine during idling.

This bulletin applies to 2014 Jaguar XJ vehicles equipped with a 5.0L VIN T L supercharged engine. A humming noise may be evident from the engine during idling.

This may be caused by dust and/or water ingress to the primary drive belt idler pulley bearing.

Install the new primary drive belt idler pulley bracket and torque to 25 Nm. Install the new primary drive belt idler pulley and torque to 47 Nm. Make sure that the primary drive belt is correctly located on each pulley. The new parts are available as follows:

C2D49056...............idler pulley bracket
