How to Fix Chevy Coolant Leak

This bulletin applies to 2016-2018 Chevy Camaro and Corvette vehicles equipped with the 6.2L LTi or LY4 engine, which may experience a mystery coolant loss. If the coolant is low, pressure test the system looking for leaks at the outer cylinder head bolt locations.

This bulletin applies to 2016-2018 Chevy Camaro and Corvette vehicles equipped with the 6.2L LTi or LY4 engine. The engine may experience a mystery coolant loss.

If the coolant is low, pressure test the system looking for leaks at the outer cylinder head bolt locations.

If a leak at any head bolt locations is found, GM recommends replacing the cylinder head that shows the leak.
