Replace Jeep Transmission Range Sensor

This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Jeep Compass and Patriot vehicles built after June 20, 2016 and on or before March 31, 2017, equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Jeep Compass and Patriot vehicles built after June 20, 2016 and on or before March 31, 2017, equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The MIL may be on, accompanied by DTC P0705-00 (transmission range sensor A circuit ...PRNDL input) and/or P0706-00 (transmission range sensor performance). The vehicle may experience an intermittent no-crank/no-start condition.

Replace the TRS (transmission range sensor) using sensor P/N 68273120AA. Clear DTCs and verify the repair.
