Some 2017-2018 Toyota Highlander vehicles with and without the start stop feature (and equipped with both old and new type DAT UA80 transmissions) may have a MIL on with DTC P07407E and/or P27567F.

Some 2017-2018 Toyota Highlander vehicles with and without the start-stop feature (and equipped with both old and new type DAT UA80 transmissions) may have a MIL on with DTC P07407E and/or P27567F. The ECM logic has been modified to reduce the possibility of this condition.

Note: a mismatched transaxle assembly and ECM software combination may result in a harsh shift or shift flare. If this occurs after the repair, additional ECM replacement and reprogramming will be required. Reprogram the ECM with the latest calibration.
