    Quieting Audi Steering Squeak

    This bulletin applies to all 2009-2024 Audi vehicles. Squeaking noises may be heard when the steering wheel is turned and may be more prevalent in wet weather.

    This bulletin applies to all 2009-2024 Audi vehicles. Squeaking noises may be heard when the steering wheel is turned and may be more prevalent in wet weather. The folds of the rubber boots on the front axle shafts may come into contact with each other when the steering wheel is turned, causing squeaking noises.

    These noises are more likely to occur when the boots are new. The volume and occurrence of the noise will dissipate after a break-in period.
