Redline Detection hires Steve Marek as Regional OEM Account Manager

Redline Detection, a leading manufacturer of diagnostic leak detection equipment, announced that Steve Marek has joined the company as Regional OEM Account Manager.

Marek comes to Redline with 19 years of experience at Midtronics where he spearheaded OEM sales.  Marek     has successfully launched essential tool programs with many of the world’s leading OEM’s and brings 35 years of experience in the tool and equipment industry to his new position. “I am thrilled to join the Redline team and proud to bring this quality to my customers” said Steve Marek.

Marek joins the Redline team during the roll-out of several global OEM essential tool/ mandated equipment programs. The Dual Purpose Diagnostic Leak Locator has been widely adopted because of its unique ability to perform both higher pressure diagnostics for turbo, diesel and other boosted vehicle systems that require 2-20 PSI to simulate boost; and also low pressure, EVAP and general repair applications in the .05-2 PSI range.

In his spare time,  Marek     works on his 1972 Ford Ranchero in anticipation of the annual Woodward Dream Cruise classic car show in Detroit. The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day automotive event, drawing about 1.5 million people and 40,000 classic cars from around the globe.  Marek     resides in Chicago with his wife, near his kids and grandkids.
