Ranger RL-8500 Combination Brake Lathe

The Ranger RL-8500 Combination Brake Lathe uses independent DC servo motors to control the cross-feed and spindle feed drives, allowing for a precision cut every time and eliminating the need for complex mechanical gear boxes and transmissions typically found on mechanically-driven brake lathes. It provides fast and accurate rotor/flywheel and drum/flywheel resurfacing. In addition, it works on all cars or trucks, both foreign and domestic, with hubless drums, rotors (hole sized 2-5/32" to 4”), and composite rotors (hole sized 4" to 6-1/4”).
