The Power Probe VT750 EV Safety Voltage Tester allows technicians to verify that power has been disconnected from an EV before servicing which is a critical safety test that is required to safely service an EV. The VT750 works as a traditional two pole voltage tester, but has an additional safety feature. Even if the battery is removed and only the first pole is connected to the terminal with more than 100V, the VT750 will power itself and alert the user that a dangerous voltage condition exists. It tests up to 750V and can measure and indicate the exact voltage (AC/DC), phase indication, phase rotation, continuity, RCD, and resistance via an LCD.
