    The Electronic Specialties Deluxe DMM, No. 582, uses amp shutters to block unused test lead jacks as well as prevent mistake operation, reduce blown fuses and improve user safety. The DMM features a fused 20 amp test range in both DC and AC. With a temperature probe included, the device has built-in temperature readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius and a Data Hold function. It has 10 Meg/Ohm input impedance and is fuse- and overload-protected. The unit has 2" backlight digits on the display, 40” test leads, an installed battery, a zippered carrying case, an instruction manual and a one-year warranty. Complete testing functions include DC/AC volts, DC/AC current, resistance, frequency, capacitance, temperature, audible continuity and a diode test.
