Bill Fotino retires as president of NAPD

William “Bill” Fotino will retire and will leave the Affinia Group at the end of June. He founded NAPD in 1985and was the sole shareholder when he sold NAPD to the Affinia Group in 2010. 

Affinia Group announced the retirement of William “Bill” Fotino, who will be leaving the Affinia Group at the end of June. Fotino founded NAPD in 1985 from his garage with three partners and was the sole shareholder when he sold NAPD to the Affinia Group in 2010. 

“Since Affinia’s acquisition, Bill has played a crucial role in integrating NAPD into the Affinia family, while continuing to grow the business,” said Rick Pizarek, President of Affinia Global Chassis. “He has led the NAPD business with integrity and done a remarkable job preparing future leaders within NAPD to continue this path of success.” 

Dominic Casareale will assume the role of Vice President and General Manager of the NAPD Chassis team. In his new role, Casareale will lead the organization at the NAPD facility in Ramsey, N.J. while also managing sales, marketing and product development. 

“The success of NAPD is due to the high level of leadership and teamwork of everyone in the organization, and I am fully confident in Dom and his leadership team to continue NAPD’s legacy of quality, supply chain excellence and superior customer service,” Pizarek said.
