David Mestdagh named VP of TRW Automotive Aftermarket NA

The news strengthens TRW’s position as the business continues to roll out its Corner Module (braking, steering & suspension parts and systems) into the North American aftermarket.

TRW, a global leader in automotive safety systems, appointed David Mestdagh as Vice President, TRW Automotive Aftermarket, North America.

This news strengthens TRW’s position as the business continues to roll out its Corner Module (braking, steering & suspension parts and systems) into the North American aftermarket. 

Mestdagh, who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, joins the business from Continental Automotive, where he served as the General Manager of NAFTA Aftermarket Operations. Prior to joining Continental, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in aftermarket sales management for Visteon and Federal Mogul.

Alex Ashmore, Global Vice President and General Manager, TRW Automotive Aftermarket, stated: “With a strong track record of delivering excellent business results, David is the right person to continue the success story of TRW’s aftermarket activities in North America. This move demonstrates our commitment to further developing our independent aftermarket (IAM) activities in the region, and to the wider industry as a whole.”
