Dayco named Large Business of the Year for Barnwell County, S.C.

  Dayco Products LLC has been named Large Business of the Year for Barnwell County, S.C. by the Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce.

Dayco Products LLC has been named Large Business of the Year for Barnwell County, S.C. by the Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce. Barnwell County is home to one of Dayco’s belt manufacturing plants, located in Williston, S.C.

Dayco was named Large Business of the Year for its contributions to Toys for Tots, the DSS Angel Tree, Relay for Life and March of Dimes, as well as involvement in the Dream It Do It campaign and Work Ready Communities committee. Dayco also supports the Williston Elko Booster Club and the local school system by offering tours of the production facility. Lastly, Dayco was recognized for the $2 million expansion project currently taking place at the Williston plant, which will generate 15 new jobs in the community.

“The Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the tremendous efforts Dayco displays in giving back to the community and the confidence you have shown in the community as you continue to grow,” said Angie Boyles, Executive Director for the Barnwell Country Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber wishes you continued success and looks forward to working with you in the future.”

“Dayco is always excited about helping the community," said Latrecia Hicks, Assistant Human Resources Manager at the Williston facility and recipient of the award for Dayco. "We will continue to help Barnwell County be the great county it is and look forward to building upon our relationship with the Chamber and the community.”

In operation since 1977, the Williston plant employs more than 250 Dayco associates who produce serpentine belts and timing belts for original equipment, heavy duty and the automotive aftermarket.
