New accessory drive kits encourage total vehicle maintenance

Veyance Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of Goodyear Engineered Products and Gatorback belts, announces the addition of 73 new part numbers to its Gatorback accessory drive kit line.

Veyance Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of Goodyear® Engineered Products and Gatorback® belts, announces the addition of 73 new part numbers to its Gatorback accessory drive kit line. The kits make it easy for installers to service the entire system when changing a belt.

The expanded line increases coverage for both domestic and import applications, providing customers with a competitive lineup to service the most popular vehicles on the road today. The kits include all the necessary parts to replace the entire belt system, including belt, tensioner and idler pulley (where applicable).

Replacing all the accessory drive components at the same time prevents the serpentine belt from premature and uneven wear, reducing the chance for loss of tension or belt slippage on any of the system components.

“It’s important to remember that Gatorback belts, tensioners and idler pulleys are a part of the same system, and replacing a single component in the system without the others is not recommended,” said Tom Lee, marketing manager at Veyance Technologies. “Failure of any single component can lead to complete system interruption and extensive, costly repairs.”

With the new additions, Gatorback now offers 121 part numbers in the accessory drive kit line. For a full listing of the accessory drive kit additions and pricing, contact your local Goodyear Engineered Products sales representative.
