Honeywell Friction Materials adds coverage for 82 million vehicles in Q4

Honeywell Friction Materials added 185 new model numbers in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Honeywell Friction Materials, known for its Bendix® and JURID® branded brake products, and now its Stop by Honeywell branded disc pads, added 185 new model numbers in the fourth quarter of 2013. The new parts expansion covers an additional 82 million vehicles on the road today. 

Specifically, there was emphasized growth in the shoe and parking brake category with the introduction of 132 models which cover 70 million vehicles, including the following:
• 2013 Chevrolet Silverado
• 2014 Cadillac CTS
• 2014 Jeep Compass

In addition, disc pad coverage expanded to include another 1.3 million vehicles, and rotor, wheel cylinder and master cylinder new models more than 11 million vehicles. The Honeywell Friction team also expanded its Stop by Honeywell disc pad offerings covering an additional 33 million vehicles, including the 2014 Dodge Dart, Audi A6 and Chevrolet Camaro, to name a few.

These new parts will enable technicians to offer premium brake service on a wide range of new and late-model vehicles from both foreign and domestic automotive manufacturers.
