FDP Brakes announced the hiring of Terry Kloster who will join the company in the role of the newly created position of Senior Product Manager.

“I am very excited to have Terry joining the FDP Team,” said John Carney, Vice President of Sales & Operations. “Terry brings a significant amount of technical and product knowledge and his ability to manage and coordinate with engineers, executives, vendors, R&D partners, regulators and clients will be a huge asset to us.”

Prior to joining FDP, Kloster served in various positions with Brake Parts Inc., formerly Affinia Group, for over 25 years. During this tenure his responsibilities included business development, product line management, technical field training, technical direction oversight in research, planning, design and development of friction products and technologies.  Kloster is also an ASE Certified Automotive Technician and a Certified Automotive Training Counsel trainer.

“After my first meeting with Terry I realized FDP had to bring him on board,” Carney said. “People with 25+ years experience in the North American friction market and a resume like Terry’s simply do not walk through your door everyday. I am thrilled to introduce him to our team and to our customers.”

A full line supplier of both disc pads and brake shoes, FDP clients include OE manufactures, retailers, program groups, warehouse distributors, exporters and other brake manufactures. FDP is headquartered in Tappahannock, Va., with manufacturing and R&D facilities located worldwide.
