DENSO expands its heavy duty management team

DENSO hired Frank Jenkins in the Heavy Duty Marketing Group as senior manager, where he will direct Heavy Duty sales, marketing, product and business development activities for the Americas.
 

DENSO has added Frank Jenkins in the Heavy Duty Marketing Group as senior manager, where he will direct Heavy Duty sales, marketing, product and business development activities for the Americas.
 


Jenkins comes to DENSO with more than 28 years of experience in the automotive and truck industries. Prior to joining DENSO, he was the vice president of Sales and Marketing at Electric Vehicles International, president of Electric Motors Corporation, vice president of Sales at Motiv Power Systems and held many executive commercial sales and marketing positions at General Motors. In each of his positions, he has significantly increased sales and market share in all of his prior jobs. 
 


“Frank’s extensive knowledge of the light, medium and heavy duty truck markets will be an asset to DENSO and our customers. In addition, his background will be invaluable as we expand our product lines to better cover new applications,” said Fran Labun, vice president, Sales Group, DENSO Products and Services Americas.
 


Jenkins attended Michigan State University, played college football and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.  
 

DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. is an automotive components sales, remanufacturing and distribution company that employs 420 people in Long Beach, and Murrieta, Calif. The company’s product line includes heavy duty and automotive alternators and starters, oil, cabin and air filters, spark plugs, AC compressors, oxygen sensors, ignition wires, fuel pumps, fuel injectors and wiper blades.
