Uni-Select launches its largest-ever distribution center in Calgary, Alberta

Uni-Select celebrated today the official opening of a new Bumper to Bumper distribution center in Calgary.

Uni-Select celebrated today the official opening of a new Bumper to Bumper distribution center in Calgary. This facility has a footprint of 296,085 square ft, making it Uni-Select's largest distribution center.

"We are proud to launch this distribution center, which is in line with our focus on operational excellence and has been designed to continuously improve customer service, with increased efficiency and quicker delivery," said Brent Windom, President and Chief Executive Officer of Uni-Select. "Located in a strategic location for our customers and suppliers in Western Canada, this new facility will support our long-term growth and truly is a major accomplishment for our team."

We've been investing in our transportation network, to serve our citizens and to serve industry, and today's news shows that it has paid dividends," said Naheed Nenshi, Mayor of Calgary.

Located at 1710-104 Avenue NE in Calgary's Oxford Airport Business Park, the new Bumper to Bumper distribution center currently has 30 full-time employees and shall employ more than 35 people by the end of 2019. It services 1,300 shops and nearly 200 stores in Western Canada, including 87 Bumper to Bumper stores. It will also be home to a 7,450 ft² training centre which will provide a hands-on experience with the newest technologies, product knowledge and techniques, for customers' technicians and service advisors and members in the Uni-Select store network.
