Thermo King rebate promotions

For Espar heaters, TriPacE electric APUs

Thermo King is offering rebates for customers purchasing its Espar heaters and TriPacE electric auxiliary power units (APU).

Customers can qualify for rebates of up to $1,000 when they purchase qualifying quantities of select Espar heaters from participating Thermo King dealers through Dec. 31, 2010.

Espar heaters offer an alternative to idling vehicle engines for heat, says the company. The heaters are an environmentally conscious solution to provide comfort while increasing efficiency and saving money.

The Espar heaters included in the promotion are certain Airtronic D4 Truck Kits, Airtronic D2 Truck Kits, Airtronic D2/Hydronic 5 Combo Truck Kits and Hydronic D5 Truck Kits.

Another effort to help customers save money, save fuel and reduce idling is Thermo King’s nationwide rebate program for those who are taking advantage of local, state or national grant funding and choosing to purchase the TriPacE electric APU.

This rebate is exclusively for the TriPacE and provides customers with funds to match the amount of grant money that they have received, up to $1,000 for each unit.

Rebates will be deducted directly from the price.

This rebate program is a limited time offer, and all units must be ordered and shipped between Oct. 29 and Dec. 23, 2010.

In order to receive the rebate at the time of purchase, customers must provide their authorized Thermo King dealer with documentation verifying the receipt and amount of the grant and the contact information of the grant administrator.

Rebates cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or rebates.

Grants are typically provided by local, state and national government programs, non-profit organizations and trucking associations. Customers should also contact their local and state governments to inquire about available funding.

Federal organizations such as the Environmental Protection Agency and non-profit organizations such as Cascade Sierra also offer APU grants.
