Voting open for 2011 ASA board elections

Elections for the 2011 Automotive Service Association (ASA) national board of directors are being held now through Feb. 28.

There are four candidates seeking election this year for two general director positions. Candidates, listed in alphabetical order, include Gary M. Keyes, AAM, E&M Motors Inc., Stuart, Fla.; Donny Seyfer, AAM (incumbent), Seyfer Automotive Inc., Wheat Ridge, Colo.; Jeanne C. Silver, Butterfield Bodyworks CARSTAR, Mundelein, Ill.; and John D. Vallely, AAM, McLean Auto Repair, Elgin, Ill.

All regular members in good standing with ASA are eligible to cast their vote for two candidates to fill two ASA general director positions.

Casting a vote is done by calling a toll-free telephone number or visiting a secure voting site accessed from ASA’s home page, www.asashop.org. Whether voting by phone or via the Internet, ASA members will need their member number plus a three-digit personal identification number to vote. The voting line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Candidate bios and audio campaign messages are also available by visiting the organization’s website.
