Fleet professionals who attend NAFA’s 2014 International Fleet Academy learn from very knowledgeable individuals on the subject of global fleet management. Attendees can share information with colleagues in an intimate setting arranged by NAFA.

From discussions regarding cloud-based location intelligence software platforms, to fleet centralization versus regionalized structure, standardization of goods and services, staffing, how to identify and visit the right regional people, and more, IFA provides unparalleled education for fleet professionals with international oversight.

This year’s International Fleet Academy takes place from Nov. 5-7 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla. The conference is designed specifically to meet the unique needs of those who manage fleets of vehicles outside the U.S. and Canada, and to provide a high-level, peer-driven environment for the exchange of ideas, solutions and information.

"NAFA membership wanted an event where global fleet managers could engage each other on a peer-to-peer level,” said NAFA’s chief executive officer Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “The IFA offers these professionals just that, so that they can share with each other with confidence.”

Topics of discussion at IFA include: global information systems; fleet and taxation around the globe; global funding differences using finance leases, operating leases; capital allocation strategies; global RFP funding; global fleet procurement and supply chain; global fuel card acceptance; duty of care: global health and safety standards; and much more.
