NAFA, a non-profit association for fleet professionals, will hold its annual Institute and Expo (I&E) in Orlando, Fla., April 14-17.

NAFA, the world’s premier non-profit association for fleet professionals, will hold its annual Institute and Expo (I&E) in Orlando, Fla., April 14-17. The four-day event, designed by fleet managers, delivers new information, ideas and important updates on the latest in fleet management.

“We are very excited for this year’s I&E,” said NAFA's chief executive officer, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “This event exposes members to various special events, presentations from industry experts, networking opportunities, quality educational sessions and outstanding an exhibition hall showcasing over 250 exhibitors. If industry members attend only one event a year, the NAFA I&E should be it.”

Motivational speaker Shawn Achor will open the I&E, presenting his philosophy of positive psychology, whereby one's relationship to the world is dependent on their viewpoint of it. He explains that happy people, engaged individuals, are more likely to be creative, productive, enthusiastic, and able to accept change, challenges and stress.

Returning again this year are the NAFA FLEXY Awards, industry awards recognizing outstanding individuals, teams or fleets. The highly anticipated and attended award ceremony is scheduled for the first day of the conference. Open to everyone in fleet management, regardless of whether they are NAFA Members or not, the FLEXYs are awarded in the fields of sustainability, safety, and overall fleet management achievement. Submissions are being accepted until Feb. 9. Finalists are selected by a panel of industry professionals.

Other events to highlight at the 2015 I&E include the expansive expo hall, exclusive sessions, networking opportunities and a featured test track.

  • Discover the latest technologies on the expo floor. With 250 exhibits, it’s a one-stop shop for the latest innovations and resources to help you save time and money.
  • CAFM Boot Camp Certification Candidates. CAFM Boot Camp will be taking place on site at I&E and is free with full conference registration.
  • Connect with fleet industry professionals representing all of the various groups and experience levels in the industry, through multiple networking events, coffee breaks, parties, meals and more.
  • Law enforcement fleet managers and municipal associates can test their skills behind the wheel at the newly-returned LEG Ride & Drive.

Day passes are available for purchase by fleet managers. Early bird pricing is available until Feb. 20.
