For the third consecutive year, Ford has once again issued the most recalls in the United States compared to any other automotive manufacturer.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Ford has issued 56 recalls so far this year, potentially affecting 5,899,919 vehicles. To note, this is down from Ford's 68 recalls and potentially affecting 8.6 million vehicles in 2022.
Ford's largest recall was issued in March 2023 when over 1.2 million Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles were recalled due to a possible rupture in the front brake hoses.
