Katherine A. Henmueller steps into the roles of president and COO, previously serving as manager of operations.

The Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair (CCAR) has named Katherin A. Henmueller as their president and COO.

In Henmueller's career, CCAR credits her as being dedicated to serving as a national safety advocate, providing shop safety and hazardous materials handling e-learning courses exclusively for the automotive industry and trade schools. Most recently, Henmueller served as manager of operations, and previously held the position of client services supervisor at CCAR.

"I look forward to further educating and growing CCAR's client base across the North American automotive aftermarket and OEM's alike," Henmueller said. "This move allows me to provide leadership within the industry for promoting safety education and standards that improve shop operations and regulatory compliance. Shops' use of effective and retained safety and hazmat education protects workers, satisfies OSHA and DOT requirements, and provides a direct benefit to the motoring public."

As a leader at CCAR, Henmueller intends to become a respected thought leader for safety education by inspiring, influencing, and leading the industry.
