The report provides statistics on increases in students and more.

The ASE Education Foundation has released its annual report for 2024. The report focuses on the non-profit organization in addressing the technician shortage, increasing the number of ASE accredited educational programs, and using industry-developed national standards to ensure training programs have the resources needed for student success.

In the report, readers can find statistics on the increase in the number of students attending ASE-accredited programs from 2023 to 2024, as well as the increase in the number of ASE entry-level tests taken by students last year. Also included is a recap of the proven solutions the foundation is employing to address the technician shortage, as well as the ASE Education Foundation's partnership with WrenchWay and its "School Assist" program.

Other highlights include the addition of new hybrid and EV accreditation standards and the introduction of the G1 equivalency, where students in ASE-accredited programs can earn professional G1 certification at no additional cost by passing eight ASE entry-level automobile tests.
