Robert Bosch LLC announced 74 new part number releases for November 2014 including brake pads and rotors, wiper blade sets, starters, alternators, oxygen sensors and electric water pumps.
Bosch QuietCast™ and Bosch Blue Brake Pads
Twenty new brake pad sets – two Bosch QuietCast and 18 Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pad sets – have been added to cover 35.6 million units in operation. Both QuietCast Brake Pad sets are offered with hardware kits, while 16 of the 18 new Bosch Blue Brake Pad sets include hardware kits. These new releases expand Bosch coverage for late-model Domestic, Asian and European vehicles, including 2013 – 2014 Lexus GS350, 2013 Lexus GS450h, 1999 – 2000 Cadillac Escalade, 1995 -1999 Chevrolet C1500 Suburban, 2011 – 2014 Audi A1, 2003 – 2007 Volkswagen Polo, 2010 – 2013 Lincoln Mark LT, 2007- 2012 Acura RDX, 2005 – 2010 Honda Odyssey, 2007 – 2010 Lexus ES350 and more.
Bosch QuietCast™ Rotors
Bosch has added 35 new SKUs to its QuietCast Rotor line providing coverage for an additional 9.3 million Domestic, Asian and European units in operation. QuietCast rotors are 100 percent factory mill precision balanced with OEM-style vane configurations and environmentally friendly, clear-look coatings that resist rust and corrosion.
Bosch QuietCast™ Rotors are available for 2009 – 2014 Audi A4, 2010-2014 Audi A5, 2012-2013 Audi A6, 2013 Audi A6 Quattro, 2011 – 2014 Audi S4 and S5, 2013 – 2014 Chrysler Town & Country, 2012 – 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2012 Volkswagen Routan, 2012 – 2014 Ford Focus, 2011 – 2014 Ford Fiesta, 2012 – 2014 Ford F150, and many more applications.
Oxygen Sensors
Bosch announces the introduction of three new OE-fit oxygen sensors which expand Bosch coverage by over 40,000 late-model Domestic and European vehicles in operation. With these new sensors, Bosch has taken late model coverage to a whole new level by launching a wideband/AF sensor fitting the Ford 2015 Platinum F-150 and 2015 Mustang. Other coverage includes 2009 – 2015 Porsche 911, 2012-2013 Volkswagen Beetle and 2012 – 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. Bosch Oxygen Sensors are true direct-fit sensors.
Rotating Machines
The Bosch Starting and Charging Group has launched five new and remanufactured starter and alternator SKUs covering more than 200,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada. These starters and alternators offer coverage for late-model European and Domestic applications, and meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommendation.
Alternator coverage includes 2009 – 2012 Chevrolet Express 2500, 2008 – 2009 Audi TT Quattro, 2009 – 2011 Volkswagen CC, 2012 – 2013 Volkswagen Passat and more; with starters covering 2010 – 2013 Volkswagen Passat Diesel TDI and 2013 Volkswagen Passat V6 Gasoline models.
Wiper Blade Sets
One new Aerotwin Wiper Blade set and one new Twin Wiper Blade set have been released for November. Together they expand Bosch coverage to an additional 840,000 vehicles in operation. While Bosch Aerotwin offers a direct OE replacement for vehicles requiring specific connection types, Bosch Twin offers a pre-assembled OE-style adaptor available for various connection types.
The Bosch Twin Wiper Blade set includes one 21-inch and one 19-inch blade and fits 2003 – 2005 BMW Z4, 1999– 2005 Volkswagen Golf, 1998 – 2005 Volkswagen Golf GTI and 1999 – 2004 Volkswagen Jetta.
The Bosch Aerotwin Wiper Blade set comes with one 24-inch and one 19-inch blade, fitting 2006 – 2012 Audi A3 and 2008 – 2012 Land Rover LR2.
Bosch Electric Water Pumps
Nine new Bosch Electric Water Pumps have been released to the aftermarket extending coverage to 1.9 million additional vehicles in operation. These new water pumps offer an extremely long life, reduced noise, and are suitable for start/stop applications.
New electric water pumps are available for a wide range of late-model vehicles, including: 2004 – 2005 VW New Beetle 1.8 T, 2008 – 2014 Mercedes Benz G 500, 1996 – 2003 Audi A3 1.8 T, 2013 -2014 Land Rover Group Range Rover IV 5.0 AWD, 2012 – 2014 Mercedes Benz GL 500, 2011 – 2014 Jaguar XK 5.0 R-S Convertible and Coupe.
