National Tire & Battery announces ASE Tech of the Year

National Tire & Battery (NTB) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) have honored Christopher Fryar as the National Tire & Battery/ASE Technician of the Year.

National Tire & Battery (NTB) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) have honored Christopher Fryar as the National Tire & Battery/ASE Technician of the Year.

A resident of Waco, Texas, Fryar received the honor at ASE’s annual board meeting held on Nov. 14, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas.

Fryar has over 12 years’ experience in the automotive industry and holds several certifications including ASE Master Technician and L1 Advanced Engine Performance certifications. He is the lead automotive technician with NTB in Waco, Texas.

“Being an automotive technician means solving complex problems in a timely fashion,” said Fryar. “ASE certifications let me prove my expertise and skill to the customer before I ever pop the hood. I enjoy the growth and challenges that ASE brings to the table. ”

Fryar was selected as the Merchant’s Tire & Auto Centers/ASE Technician of the Year based on his test scores and number of ASE Certifications as well as his commitment to continued education in the automotive maintenance industry.
